Canada turns 140

I Love Canada

It has become a tradition to go out to Nordegg and do some camping on the Canada Day long weekend. Here are a few pictures that show just how beautiful this country is.

Just a country girl

Last night a few friends and I went to see Paul Brandt at the Rainmaker Rodeo in St. Albert. Paul puts on a great live show and being outside on an beautiful spring night just added to the amazing concert. After playing some of his older stuff like Alberta Bound, Convoy, Small Towns and Big Dreams Paul played some of his new stuff from his album that comes out on September 11 - I am so excited for this new album.

Carm and I out for DQ after the ceremony.
It has been a little tradition of ours to go for ice cream after a wedding ceremony, even though the rest of the gang was not up for it (they said something about needing real food) we still went.

Talk to Kash

These signs have been all over Edmonton for the past year - I could not resist taking my picture with one of them.

'Talk to Kash'

So if you call 232-KASH you will not talk to me but rather to this guy, Kash Seehra, maybe he will try to you sell you a house in this crazy real estate market in Edmonton.
