Summer Project #1

With a little spare time on my hands this summer I decided to tackle a few projects. The first one was to fix the ceiling in my bathroom and change the colour to something a little more warming. So after a few days of patching, sanding and painting here are the before and after pictures.

Sarah and Ryan's Wedding

On Saturday my friend Sarah got married and I was blessed to be able to go down to Brooks to celebrate this day with them. It was a hot one and as soon as we all stepped out of our cars on their ranch realized it was not only going to be a sizzler but also a day full of mosquito swatting. After a little bit of sun, catching up with friends and 'family', a little dancing and many many mosquitoes (44 bites on this body to be exact) the day was beautiful and so is this couple. Congratulations Sarah and Ryan.

SUMMER!!!

Another busy school year has finished and summer holidays are well under way. Rest to this tired body and soul has begun. This year to start holidays off I headed on a little road trip to Vancouver and Seattle.

Out for lunch in Seattle. Nerida, Bobbi, Carmen and I took a little trip to Seattle to see Patty Griffin (along with Emmylou Harris, Shawn Colvin and Buddy Miller for their Three Girls and Their Buddy tour).
