Last night a few friends and I went to see Paul Brandt at the Rainmaker Rodeo in St. Albert. Paul puts on a great live show and being outside on an beautiful spring night just added to the amazing concert. After playing some of his older stuff like Alberta Bound, Convoy, Small Towns and Big Dreams Paul played some of his new stuff from his album that comes out on September 11 - I am so excited for this new album.
Carm and I out for DQ after the ceremony. It has been a little tradition of ours to go for ice cream after a wedding ceremony, even though the rest of the gang was not up for it (they said something about needing real food) we still went.

This weekend my sister inspired me to make hot cross buns. She decided to make them according to The Joy of Cooking while I decided to make them mom's way. Our mom used to make hot cross buns every spring and making them and taking that first bite with vanilla icing running down the side brought back many memories of growing up. Ok Bobbi, let's see what your buns look like.
